One of the stranger movie merchandisings of the late 1980′s. Police Academy: The Series was an animated Saturday morning cartoon. I guess parents did not mind it was based on an R rated movie?! Pictured here is a coloring book I have from Golden Books, 1989. The story is all about stolen doughnuts, of course!

I’m not really sure why the felt the need to reenact scenes from the movie and them show the scene they just reenacted but anyway it’s a hot 80′s song!
